Stuff to Scrap (STS) had announcement a while back for those interested in signing up for the Designer Darling competition. The contest began this past week and will last for 5 weeks - the winner(s) get a designer spot at STS. I went ahead and signed up, pretty confident I won't win, but mainly to learn as much as possible about designing. And...since no one gets cut from week one, I thought I'd give it a go.
Week One Challenge
Create a mini-kit with the given palette. It had to include 6-8 unique papers and 12-15 unique elements.
I struggled to come up with a theme at first. I tried to make some of my stuff from scratch, but had to rely on some CU stuff to make the rest. I want to thank 3 of the designers that I CT for, for their encouragement and support.
Here is my mini-kit. I hope you enjoy it. My daughter came up with the name, after my husband said it looked hippie...so here is Hippie Dippie Love. Click here or image to download.
